Marie and John spent their wedding camping at Salt creek resort in the woods by Shasta Lake. They were all about unwinding and having fun!

Marie is actually a wedding coordinator so she knows how things go when it comes to this industry. She knows that even the most well planned, well intentioned weddings can sometimes go off the rails a bit. As a matter of fact, things did get behind schedule this day! No matter what happend though, she just brushed it off and went with it! Marie and John truly wanted to be present and engaged with the people that helped prepare them for this day; their family. It’s definitely easier said than done.

Thats why they spent the weekend with their friends and family camping in the wooded mountains of Shasta lake. This definitely helped bring all the nerves down for everyone. There was lots of beer, lots of trips out on the boats, and lots of family. Literally. Fun fact- John is one of 13 kids!

Anyways, I think we could all learn something from Marie and John. Laugh more, spend more time surrounded by nature, appreciate the people who made us who we are today, and realize that life doesn’t always go as planned and thats okay.
